Last week we talked about completing 2014 and creating 2015. Today is about another powerful tool to help you create whatever it is you want in your life. Truly. Have at it!
When I was in high school, a friend of mine informed me that there was a “crusade against Sage” club that met on the bench in the lobby to talk shit about me. Ouch. I was shocked and devastated. I had many wonderful friends, a boyfriend, and a loving (albeit newly divorced) family. I was an athlete and on the honor roll. I was also a self-conscious, evolving teenager like everyone else, trying to do my best, be my best, look my best…
We all have stories like this one. Stories of people who have wronged us or hurt us in some way. Stories of how life hasn’t gone our way.
Here is a key difference between people who are successful and happy vs. those who are struggling and bummed out. The happy ones forgive and let go. They know that those things that happened to them, those people that hurt them, are just stories of their life. Stories that they can either give power to or forgive. The happy ones also know that forgiveness sets them free. Free to thrive, to be wildly rich, to succeed, to enjoy life.
Forgiveness is really all about your own freedom and happiness. Want happier relationships? Want to make more money? Want to be more beautiful? Forgive. I’m not bullshitting. Forgiveness has insane power.
You may of heard this before, and might be thinking “Sage, you’re full of it. How do I forgive that person? They’re a total a-hole.”
Well, here we go:
This is part of how you will create an AMAZING 2015. The hard truth is we are all responsible for our lives. Yikes. I know we sometimes want it to magically just work out for us. But, the good news is that we are all responsible for our lives. So, you can create what you want for yourself. Trust me, it’s way easier to create what you want when you are a kick-ass forgiveness queen.
As always, thank you for inviting me into your inbox each week. You are badass and brilliant. You are change agents. The world needs you.
Game on!

Here are some ponderings and inspiration to enjoy!
Loved this one!! I am so much better at forgiving others than myself. And, as you said, it’s all the little stuff I say to myself: I should be doing more with my talents, I should eat better, I should hike more…. the list goes on. That all takes up too much energy and time!
Here’s to forgiveness!! Thanks for forgiving me for all the foolish, thoughtless things I have done over the years! Now, I will have to truly forgive myself. xoxox Mom

Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using?
I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for
something completely unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
First of all I would like to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your
head before writing. I’ve had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts
out there. I do take pleasure in writing however
it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost
just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints?
Appreciate it!
